Frequent disappointments or wrong information or no information drove us to try something new and do it ourselves. The content is very different.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"is-style-tw-arrow wp-block-list\">\n<li>Very helpful, in my opinion, is the \u201e<em><strong>Camaro Restoration Guide 1967-1969<\/strong><\/em>\u201c by <em>Motorbooks<\/em>, from 1997. It lists in chronological order the steps to restoration and provides matching drawings from the <em>Factory Assembly Manuals<\/em>; ISBN: <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"978-0-7603-0160-9 (\u00f6ffnet in neuem Tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.quartoknows.com\/books\/9780760301609\/Camaro-Restoration-Guide-1967-1969.html\" target=\"_blank\">978-0-7603-0160-9<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>My 2nd favorite is \u201e<em><strong>How to Restore Your Camaro 1967-1969<\/strong><\/em>\u201c by <em>Cartechbook<\/em> from 2010. The book describe the work steps well and in detail with pictures; ISBN:&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (\u00f6ffnet in neuem Tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cartechbooks.com\/how-to-restore-your-camaro-1967-1969.html\" target=\"_blank\">978-1-61325-224-6<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The 3rd is the \u201e<em><strong>Camaro Restoration Handbook<\/strong><\/em>\u201c for the 1967 to 1981 models by <em>HPBooks<\/em> in 1990. I see it as a supplement to the others. In general, it is the least helpful; ISBN: <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (\u00f6ffnet in neuem Tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.penguinrandomhouse.com\/books\/350225\/camaro-restoration-handbook-by-ron-sessions\/9780895863751\/\" target=\"_blank\">978-0-89586-375-1<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Likewise by <em>Motorbooks<\/em> is the \u201e<em><strong>Original Chevrolet Camaro 1967-1969 &#8211; The Restoration Guide<\/strong><\/em>\u201c from 2001, in a new edition from 2019. This book is my absolutle favorite. I love it! However, it is not a restoration guide, but more a guide to show the differences and changes between the 1st generation model years; ISBN: <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (\u00f6ffnet in neuem Tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.quartoknows.com\/books\/9780760365908\/Original-Chevrolet-Camaro-1967-1969.html\" target=\"_blank\">978-0-7603-6590-8<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>My favorite author for standard catalogs of American cars John Gunnell wrote with the co-author Jerry Heasley \u201e<em><strong>The Story of Camaro<\/strong><\/em>\u201c;&nbsp;ISBN: 978-0-89689-432-7. It is for all generations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"is-style-tw-arrow has-accent-color has-text-color wp-block-list\">\n<li>However, the most important thing is the <strong><em>Factory Assembly Manual<\/em><\/strong>. It contains the important data and exploded views.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <em><strong>Vehicle Information Kits<\/strong><\/em> from <em><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gmheritagecenter.com\/gm-heritage-archive\/vehicle-information-kits.html\" target=\"_blank\">General Motors Heritage Center<\/a><\/strong><\/em> should also not to be underestimated.
